Shops & Establishments Every shop / commercial establishment — register within 30 days of starting (Telangana Labour Dept)
Contract Labour Licence Contractor engaging the notified number of contract workers (usually 20+)
Principal-employer registration Establishment engaging contract labour through contractors
Renewal Periodic — as per the relevant Act and state rules
Note: Shops & Establishments registration is the basic labour registration almost every business needs — it governs working hours, leave, wages and employee records. Contract Labour licensing applies on top of that when you engage workers through a contractor.
