Telangana PT Slabs (Salary / Wages)
Monthly Salary Professional Tax
Up to ₹15,000 NIL
₹15,001 – ₹20,000 ₹150 per month
Above ₹20,000 ₹200 per month
Maximum per year ₹2,500 (statutory cap)
Employer with no employees ₹2,500 per year (PTEC)
Note: Two registrations: PTRC — employer registration to deduct PT from employees' salaries. PTEC — enrollment for the business / self-employed professional to pay their own PT. Register within 30 days of becoming liable. Governed by the Telangana PT Act, 1987.

What Goes Wrong Without Registration
