Point Details
Law Employees' Provident Fund & MP Act, 1952
Mandatory when Establishment employs 20 or more persons (voluntary below 20)
Wage ceiling ₹15,000 per month (for mandatory coverage)
Employee share 12% of basic + DA
Employer share 12% — split as 8.33% to EPS (pension) + 3.67% to EPF
Register via EPFO / Shram Suvidha portal — UAN generated for each employee
Note: The PF wage ceiling is ₹15,000 as on date. A proposed increase to ₹25,000 is under consideration but not yet notified — apply ₹15,000 until an official notification is issued.
